While hosting the Tony Awards 2017, House of Cards star, Kevin Spacey, appeared as his character Frank Underwood, alongside Frank’s wife, Claire (Robin Wright), and right-hand man, Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly). Underwood delivered Hamilton creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda the best musical envelope. As Underwood, Spacey then joked, “I want to get the hell out of here, before Bette Midler thanks anyone else,” further adding, “Oh damn! I think I said that one out loud.”
