"Rock and Roll Music" is originally a song by Chuck Berry, written and recorded by Berry in May 1957. The Beatles' 1964 cover topped singles charts in Europe and in Australia, and the Beach Boys had a U.S. top 10 hit with the song in 1976.
Seen here in remastered and colorized HD and audio enhanced as best as I could with the TV footage available - The Beatles play the popular number to screaming fans, as the intro to their two show 1966 concert at the Circus-Krone-Bau in Munich, Germany - which kicked off their brief tour that year of West Germany, Japan, and the Philippines.
The Beatles' setlist throughout the tour consisted of 11 songs: "Rock and Roll Music," "She's a Woman," "If I Needed Someone," "Day Tripper," "Baby's in Black," "I Feel Fine," "Yesterday," "I Wanna Be Your Man," "Nowhere Man," "Paperback Writer," and "I'm Down."
